How streaming works

  • • The Recite page fetches ayah audio URLs from the Django API (/api/audio/<reciter>/<surah>/<ayah>/).
  • • The player preloads the upcoming ayah to keep transitions smooth while reading.
  • • When you pause or switch reciters, cached URLs are cleared so fresh audio loads instantly.
